Partners/Funders

A-HOME
uses a variety of options to capitalize projects. For example Westchester County offers several sources such as the New Homes Land Acquisition Program, Home Funds and Community Development Block Grant funds. Other funding sources are available through New York State, such as the Homeless Housing Assistance Program (HHAP), Housing Trust Fund and in some instances Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Additional support comes from foundations and corporations as well as fundraising, individual support, bequests and conventional mortgages.

Major program funds come from:
  • New York State Office of Temporary Disability Assistance (OTDA)

  • New York State Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCR)

  • Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health (DCMH)

  • Westchester County/Emergency Shelter Grant

  • United Way
A-HOME’s Annual Report is available on this website as a download. IRS form 990 is available on the Guidestar website http://www.guidestar.org by requesting the 990 for Apropos Housing Opportunities and Management Enterprises, Inc.
